In a few hours the plane takes off. I'll be on the other side of the country and exploring. I'm also dropping off my computer at Best Buy to get fixed for good, so from now on I'll be relying on others for their internet usage. I'll still write.
If anyone is nervous about my trip, I'll be following the advice of my dear friend Gooi:
"well i feel that out of courtesy to all your friends, you should tattoo specific instructions on your back for the serial killer, so that he can send at least SOME bits of you (the ones that he won't be eating anyway, of course) to all of us. I'd like a tooth. a nail wouldn't be bad either. please and thanks."
Also, I figure that if these guys were going to murder us they would have done so while staying in the apartment. Doubtful that they would have taken their chances of us coming on the trip with them. I ain't sayin', I'm just sayin'.
Next time I write I'll be in a whole new world....
